About Us
We are Christians practicing first century Christianity in the 21st century. We do our best to follow the examples set forth in the scriptures. You and your family are invited to visit us at any of our services. Worship is a privilege God has given us to express our deep adoration for His love, mercy, and power. We take seriously the opportunity we have to worship together.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT
*A capella, congregational singing
This is one feature of worship God desires. The New Testament teaches us to sing, psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to edify each other and glorify God (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16).
*Prayer will be offered
One of the men, will lead and direct all of our thoughts together (1 Tim. 2:1-4).
*A collection will be taken (Sunday)
This is for our members. The Bible commands Christians to give on the first day of the week to support our work. Early Christians did this each Sunday, too (1 Cor. 16:1-2). Visitors are under no obligation whatsoever to contribute to this collection.
*The Lord’s Supper is offered (Sunday)
All Christians partake in memory of the death and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 11:23-26).
*A sermon will be preached
The sermon will exalt the Word of God above the will of man. The speaker will point us again and again to the Scriptures as the inerrant, infallible word of God (2 Tim. 3:16-17). You are encouraged to use your own Bible and follow along. At the conclusion of the sermon, anyone wishing to become a Christian or Christians desiring the prayers of the church will be given the opportunity to do so.
